Welcome to Fountain of Comfort Foundation Ghana

Fountain of Comfort is a proudly Ghanaian organization poised with the desire to support every under privilege individual in the society, providing education, capacity building programs, sensitizing citizens on Afforestation, creating awareness and improving on our tourism sites, providing health education and combatting societal pandemics Our prayer is that all humanity will come to understand the joy of living together with basic needs met. FOC seeks the opportunity for all men; especially, youth, women and children; to level the playing fields and to create a better platform for their development. We share the belief that “global prosperity and peace will only be achieved once the entire world’s people are empowered to order their own lives and provide for themselves and their families”; our commitment is to make people more responsible to become active citizens and major performers in national development. FOC had its first meeting in October, 2019 at the A&C MALL, ACCRA, Ghana with the first attendants being seven (7). It was incorporated under the Companies Code 1963(Act 179) as a Limited Company on 7th August, 2018.

Barbara Akuffo-Asante

Founder

Barbara Akuffo-Asante - Founder

Barbara Akuffo-Asante is born on September 9, 1990 in the Oti Region. Her dreams is to lend a helping hand to millions of people and also spread happiness to the underprivileged.

She holds a degree in Mass communication and Journalism from the Sikkim Manipal University, Certificate in Fashion designing at Joyce Ababio College of Creative Arts and a Certificate from Cambridge Center of Excellence in NGO Project and Operations Management

Ms. Akuffo-Asante has led the team of Rite Fm in a partnership program with World Vision International and Farm Radio Ghana in the year 2016.

She has also worked with Volta River Authority, Codeo and GNA respectively.

Ms, Akuffo-Asante represented her Region in 2019 Ghana's Most Beautiful on TV3 network.

Madam. Comfort A. Attah

Madam. Comfort A. Attah - Co-Founder

Madam. Comfort A. Attah is a matured and an enthusiastic self motivated person, reliable, responsible and hardworking. Also a good team player able to work well both in a team as well as using her own initiative and also is adaptable to all changing situations so as to achieve results timiously.

Madam Comfort A Attah hails from Bowiri Amanfrom a small community of Biakoye District in the Oti Region of Ghana. A teacher by profession with teacher certification from St Francis Tr. Trg. Training College Hohoe Volta Region Ghana. Holds a first degree in Political Science with History from the University of Ghana Legon.

Prosper Soku

Prosper Soku - Co-Founder

Soku Prosper, hails from Assin Foso, Central Region of Ghana.A humanist, philanthropist and hard-working young energetic man with the youthful exuberance.

Holds BFA Art Direction, NAFTI. Deploma in Journalism, Academy of Professional Studies. Certificate in Marketing and Public Relations.

He's worked with Asempa fm 94.7 as a producer in the 2013 to 2015. He's also worked with Sovereign Academy and Gifted Child international as Teacher and manager respectively. He joined APL, TV3 as contractee from 2017 to 2020. It's always been a strong desire to see every individual in the society live a better and meaningful way.

For this reason leads him to partner with The CEO of fountain of Comfort Foundation to ensure that this vision comes to fruition.
